Camera traps have vastly improved conservationists’ ability to survey secretive wildlife that occur in remote areas. In Congo they are emerging as a useful tool to determine the distribution and estimate population sizes of rare forest animals. The secondary result of the use of this new research tool is some incredible photographs of secretive forest wildlife.
